Shelley Bergren<\/h3>\n

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shelley has been the Executive Director of the Metro Film and Arts Foundation for the past five years, overseen both the finances and operations. She comes from the hospitality industry. She likes to say that in her previous business she\u2019s dealt with all kinds of people, some she agrees with and some not, but in the end, they are all part of our shared human existence.<\/p>\n

Shelley will continue as Executive Director through the end of 2023. She She is well connected in the entertainment industry and has been extremely helpful with bringing financial contributions from movie celebrities. When she was in the hospitality industry, Academy Award Winning actor, Joe Pesci, was one of her favorite customers. Of course this led to other celebrities coming to the aid of the foundation with large financial gifts and other connections in the entertainment industry. Shelley is quite adept at “working the room” and she does it with finesse and humor, with very good results for the foundation.<\/p>\n

Collaboration<\/h2>\n

This is our 6th year in the heart of the Soma Arts District. During this time we\u2019ve had the privilege of working with many other arts organizations in San Francisco and beyond, including film festivals, non-profit arts organizations as well as individual artists and creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
